Doreen Nagle: Ability to bounce back moves kids forward
Teaching children to bounce back doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to have their feelings of frustration, hurt or anger. Instead, they should learn how to move through those feelings without becoming mired down in them. Help them get on with life by reminding them they have dreams they want to fulfill despite disappointments. Resiliency means developing a "feel the fear and do it anyway" attitude.

Personal mastery and professional competence
Your biggest challenge is learning how to trap the negative mental dialogue that occurs during adversity. Don’t allow negative situations ruin your mental well being. This ability to deal with adverse adversity can be found in the mind set of every great athlete, businessman, investor, and scientist Do you believe that your ultimate outcome in life are externally determined or do you believe that how your life turns out is ultimately up to you, that despite all the things that happen, you and only you are responsible. Consider the global Airline industry and think of all the events and factors outside managerial control that have hit it since 1972: fuel Hike shocks, high interest rates, deregulation, wars and more recently the threat of terrorism and the September 11,2000 bombing of the twin towers of the world trade centre in new York city.

The extension of God’s grace and mercy
Did not you read of those times when the people provoked God to anger, due to their rebellious attitude and deeds, and Moses and Aaron fell on their faces and prayed to the God for mercy and for time to work with the people?
Both the modern Moses and the modern Aaron have likewise prayed to Allah for time to get to our people, out of hearts filled with intense compassionate love. They warned of a day specific day that is all but upon us, when God will punish those who reject the warnings these two have and are giving.
More next issue, Allah willing.

Pastor: Drugs haunted Sheley
Both cocaine and meth use can lead to violent behavior, lying, stealing, adopting a superior attitude or grandiosity, a loss of ambition, a shorter temper, increased impulsive behavior, paranoia, anxiety and denial of responsibility, Burrow said. "Nick, he doesn't handle stress, and when there's a lot of pressure on him, he tends to look for drugs and alcohol," Holly Sheley said. "So then he continues on the path that's he's on because he doesn't know how to quit." Holly Sheley recalled the events of Monday, June 23, the last day she saw her husband. Nicholas Sheley bought a beer in Rockford, and then after returning to the place where the couple had been staying recently in Mount Morris, he bought more beer, and then a bottle of Hennessy cognac. "I was hesitant at first, and I said, 'Nick, you know what happens,'" Holly Sheley explained, referring to her husband's tendency to abuse drugs after drinking.
